    2017 is the apocalypse:

    @ClearTheBases

    Trey Ball done after 7 IP: 5 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 K. Dogs still lead 2-0
    Devers OPS in BOS: 1.078. Seasoning in AAA is overrated.

    Good start for Trey Ball, but call me when has a good season and not just a good game.

    I mean, guys are late bloomers and put it together, but I've mostly given up on his prospectidum.

    They should see if Ball can still hit.

    There's still a much better chance that Ball is a late bloomer and can contribute to an MLB club than him ever contributing as an MLB hitter.

    0.01% to 0.001% chance either way.

    YES! Trey Ball, the Red Sox 2020 opening day starter. I'm starting to believe again:

    Unfortunately, that is true at this point.

    And what quantitative methods did you use to come up with these statistics?

    I believe trey ball has major league stuff.

    Once he gets the legs, hips, shoulders, arm, wrist and head all working in unison on a repeatable delivery, he will be a devastating major league pitcher.
