Jacko is a perfectly cromulent poster. He's not as insufferable as he used to be.

As the resident Defender Of Jacko I would note that most of those things he has in common with many people on this board.

If he was not a Yankee fan few people would care about all those things.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

What a huge boost to the pen he can be, if he keeps this up.

I always thought Kimbrel would be a top 5 closer for the 3 years with us. He's looking like that now.
Yeah, I feel like we're finally seeing the Kimbrel we hoped we'd be getting...pure dominance.

Imagining how good this 'pen could be once we have Thornburg and eventually Smith back healthy is kind of scary.
