I must still be drunk. There's a pink elephant on the mound.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.
"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
Leon really taking a beating back there today
Wins are nice.
Especially for this team.

Surprising win to me, especially after Sale gave up his 2d dinger in the 5th. He's learned the key to winning--don't hold the other team to 1 run. Another surprise--Sox get 6 runs on 7 hits, only hit into one GIDP, and were 2 for 5 with RISP.
Sale has a 2 hit game but somehow the Rays get 3 runs off it. Efficient.
Kimbrel manages to increase his strikeout rate which was over 55% entering the game - ridiculous
