"Why the hell not?" Mojo
LHP Chris Sale (16-7, 2.86) vs LHP Wade Miley (8-13, 5.32)
What's on Sale tonight? Admission into the sorority's weekly Hump Day celebration!
Win. Dance. Repeat. x3
As I said in last night's GT, this has to be frustrating for them. They've won 8 of 10 and gained one game while watching the Sox come from behind over and over. They've got to be asking themselves. "Don't those guys EVER lose??" :-))
The Sox still have that nice little three game cushion and a little leeway. The Yankees don't. The fat lady ain't singing yet but she's in the building!
It's a mere moment in a man's life between the All-Star game and the Old Timer's game.

I just want a nice solid day for Sale. Guy needs some serious mojo going on before he enters the playoffs. He has been inconsistent at best since the All Star break. Hopefully a solid game from him will be just what he needs entering the playoffs. His strikeouts are still among the best in the MLB but he is giving up too many runs. Win, dance, repeat boys! And hopefully a Yankees loss will complete the night.
Okay now I want to find the Twins game to watch.
Fuck me.
But I am all in on Thunder blowjoe.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
They have had the last two Yankees and Twins game on TV so I will likely be going back and forth. I'll be rooting for the Twins hard. They need this win in the worst way as they will likely be playing the Yankees in the Wild Card round unless the Angels move to the 2nd Wild Card spot.
