I think it's good that we stretched out Sale last night to get to 300, because now there's no pressure to pitch him the rest of the season. I assume he'll make his next scheduled start on Tuesday, because I figure the division race won't be over by then, but then he's slated to pitch game #162. That one, we can give him a break, unless for some reason, we're tied with NYY. Even this next start on Tuesday, does it make sense to have a pitch count on him, like say 85-90, especially knowing our bullpen? That way, we can likely trust our bullpen, even in a close game, to take some of the load off Sale.
