    9/22 @ Cincinnati

    "Why the hell not?" Mojo

RHP Rick Porcello (10-17, 4.46) vs RHP Sal Romano (5-6, 4.07)

Benny Biceps is back home for the weekend. Good vibes only. It's a Friday night, and the sorority girls love themselves some Big Dick Rick.

    Win. Dance. Repeat. x4

Romano has two pitches. A FB & a Slider. I doubt he abandones his FB to throws ALL Sliders. Lay off the Slider and look for a FB to hit. I can't believe we're playing the Reds. It's September 22nd for christ sake.

The Reds have a higher OPS than the Sox. This is a last place team with terrible pitching. Their best pitcher down the stretch has been shut down for the year. If the Sox can't score this series, they should be embarrassed.

    More blowmo please.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

    This.

Not sure if we sweep the series but every game is like 2-1 or 3-2 if I should feel good about the wins or scared entering playoffs. Regardless entering the playoffs on any kind of a streak is always a confidence booster but I hope the offense shows up this series. Poor Reds I have a friend that is a huge Reds fan. What a disaster of a season. I thought they started pretty good too, my god how quick that changed lol.

Hamilton may only be a pinch runner for the series too.

Hurt his thumb on a bunt attempt. He was on the DL for 10 days and hasn't played since 9/6.

I would like to see this exact lineup for ALDS Game 1, the only change being the starting pitcher.

Normally I say I don't care how we win but against the Reds I hope we put up some serious offense in this series. A win is a win but this is a good time for the offense to come alive..... And hope Porcello has a great game of course.
