52 pitches, 3 + innings - under normal circumstances he probably wouldn't even be available Friday. But Girardi may be seeing things differently.

With this pen, every game becomes a potential victory. But we have to bring the bats vs Bauer. We need to set the tone in game 1. Whomever starts needs to be ready from the getgo. Nothing left in the tank, go all out. You can go 4 scoreless and be cooked and that’s fine.

Wonder if Francona is getting too cute on starting Bauer. He doesn't impress me.

He’s keeping Kluber on regular rest.

WTF does that mean. Indians clinch a long time ago and they used him on Saturday? Isn't the damn entire point is having your ace begin game 1.

They hadn't clinched the best record and home field if they play Houston though.

Kluber is on regular rest right now. Why wouldn't he be ready for game 1?

You're right. I'm a little surprised about it too.

Unless Tito is saving him up for a potential Tanaka match up, there would be no excuse to begin a series with anything less than your ace. And isn't Carassco or whatever his name is better than Bauer?

Hope his decision to use him for that long last night doesn't have long term repercussions, he might be cooked for next year

Girardi seriously overused him, I hope DRob doesn't develop arm problems in the near future

Francona wants to Kluber to pitch on regular rest in Game 5, if necessary.

Well, I had a sliver of hope that the Twins might be able to win that game after they scored 3 in the top of the first. That sliver disappeared as soon as Santana walked Gardner to lead off the bottom of the first.

Of course. Too much to hope they could hold a three-spot.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win
