This is the power of the Yankees pen. We can literally get nothing out of our starter and we can put a pen game together to win. We aren’t even looking to use Betances or Warren here

I've seen 90% of the Twin players playing tonight, in New Britain. Not there anymore, but they got some young arms coming too. Give them credit.

I give them credit, but you also need to see the mastery of this pen. 8IP 1ER

AL EAST will be trouble in Play-offs. Somebody is going down either Astros or Indians....Watch! Maybe both!

Hats off to the Yanks. Might give Cleveland a decent series. Who knows

    Me too.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

In case some have not noticed, the Yankees are a formidable team.

They will be tough going forward as we lurch toward the cliff.

52 pitches for DRob...wow, that is a ton of pitches for a reliever.

  14. #104
DRob is probably cooked for game 1. Probably Kahnle as well. The Yankees won yesterday without even using Warren or Betances.

Also, with Severino’s short start, he might be able to go games 2 and 5 vs CLE. Those two are actually regular rest, hence why Kluber is going 2 and 5. What a day. We saw how dangerous that pen can be. Green, KRob, Kahnle, Chapman. 8.1IP 1ER against a hot offense.

Kluber is going game 2 (and 5, if needed) NOT game 1.
