Does anyone here see a sleeper this year?

Just a hunch, but I can see Arizona coming up big. I'm not sold on any NL team to dominate in their league.

While I would love to see the Sox go all the way I just don't see them getting past Cleveland.

In the AL my sleeper is the Yankees. Even if it pains me to say so.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

I'm really not into these predictions but Indians over D'backs sounds like a good call.

    Go Sox!

    MIN over NY
    COL over ARI

    WSH over CHC
    COL over LAD

    HOU over BOS
    MIN over CLE

    COL over WSH
    MIN over HOU

COL over MIN in the least-watched WS of all time

...okay, just kidding. I think the Sox lose the WS to the Nationals.

    - From the 2004 ALCS Game 4 Gamethread. A reminder that no game is over until the final out is recorded, and things will always get better. Misspellings unchanged as a reminder that Yankees fans are just terrible.

I'm with you, I think Arizona might be the dark horse this PS

I'd love the Yankees to take that place, but CLE/HOU are beasts

Arizona beat up on the Dodgers in their last series or two. I would probably bet money on the Dbacks beating the Dodgers in the ALDS

    Yankees, Diamondbacks

    Astros, Indians
    Dodgers, Nationals

    Indians over Dodgers

Since POs is a different story, here's my prediction:

    Twins over Yankees

    Sox over Astros
    Indians over Twins

    Sox over Indians

    Arizona over Colorado

    Cubs over Nats
    LA over Arizona

    LA over Cubs

Sox vs LA, and everything can happen here.
Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz & Boston Red Sox
