Rain, I would think yes (at least, it stands to reason that that's true). But mist and fog, etc., no. I imagine the psychological factor may be more important, as hitters likely assume that the ball won't travel as far when things are wet, and consequently ...

That would be fine with me. That way, if we lose game 4, I can always say the rain out ruined our momentum. Perfect.

Porcello can gain back a lot of trust and forgiveness if he has a solid game tonight. He might give up a couple runs or 3 but hopefully he can last 6 innings or more. If the offense plays like they did yesterday I'm fine with Porcello being average today.

From where I live there is one big patch coming through to Boston, after that clear sailing. So maybe 1 delay, then figure by 5 all set for sure, maybe earlier.

Its pouring here in CT. but suppose to clear up by 3 or 4 they will get this game in. Should have started at 12.

It just doesn't feel right having David Cone in the booth. Go back to YES

Porcello out of the stretch to start. Interesting.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough

Well there's the porcello specialty. Fuck this guy.

Can porcello not leave a fastball down the middle?
"It happens to everybody, man. He's had 60 at-bats. A couple of years ago, I had 60 at-bats, and I was hitting .170, and everyone was ready to kill me, too. And what happened? Laser show. So, relax."

You got to block that, not use your glove.

Farrell needs to be quick with the hook here. No tomorrow

Why did Porcello start over Sale again?
