I keep looking at that 7th game, and Sabathia vs. Morton. Severino doesn't get excited and get flustered, could end, but I'm giving it to the Vet. Besides I want to watch it.
Tanaka has been nothing but a unsung hero in both series, that 1-0 win against Cleveland to me was the biggest win in all Play-off games. That game brought the Indians down to earth. And again tonight, Astros just needed 1, at least, and they didn't get it.
Tanaka probably just had the biggest win of the series, (of course all are big) Astros on their heels now. Have to think about it now, Yanks can play loose.

We don't have to beat Verlander. That being said, a well rested Sevy vs Verlander who is coming off a 120+ pitch outing in game 2 might be a story line. Listen guys, I thought our team was going to miss the playoffs in ST. The fact that we are one win from the WS is mindboggling to me. I believe this team has the talent to win it all, I just couldn't have thought in my wildest dreams that these kids would come up and perform at All-Star levels so quickly. I didn't think Bird would come back from two major surgeries to be such a professional hitter in the playoffs. Gardner has been old man river showing experience and determination. Didi has just been nails. Frazier has seemed to be the glue that has helped keep this team together this postseason. The rotation has just been incredible. The pen ridiculous. I really do like this team and going forward, this team has a LOT of winning to do. This is just the beginning
    Hal sucks

Don't worry, soon Planet X will reveal itself and put us all out of our misery. Seriously. NASA says there's likely another planet lurking out there.

I am hoping that Girardi gives Severino a premature hook.

We might actually just get a game 7. I think this would be tough for Yankees fans if they don't pulled this off.

So Girardi will be relying heavily on Kahnle and Chapman in Game 7.
