Yes, our fractured clubhouse was made obvious by winning the division.

    What an unlikable team!!!

I was annoyed by the Pedroia stuff. The Price stuff was weird. Overall, I liked last year's team though. Lots of underrated fan friendly guys like Xander and Vazquez that don't get their due.

This is the same guy that said there are no surgeries planned....

If we lose out on JD, Hosmer and Abreu, I don't see many other good choices than Moose.

I guess Morrison could repeat 2017, but I'd go for Moose and improve our D and power.

Moustakas will sign long before all of those guys.

There's no real competive market for any 3B beyond Moustakas. Even the creative solution (Cozart) is off the table.

Teams looking for a 1B have to decide between mulitple options and price ranges. Teams looking for a 3B have to decide how close to Moutakas' agent's demands do they want to come?

    Guys still available:

    Adams (meh)
    Alonso (short deal for cheap?)
    Bautista (no)
    Bruce (rather not)
    Duda (pass)
    Ethier (platoon DH for cheap?)
    Frazier (transition to 1b?)
CarGo (not sure he has much less, but how cheap could he be for DH/bench bat?)
    Hosmer (NO, too much $$$)
Lucroy (transition to 1b? outside the box, but prob too much $$$)
    JD (Gimmie a Hell Yeah!)
    Mitch (Ugh)
LoMo (On a 1 year deal only)
    Moose (Pass)
Napoli (nothing left in the tank)
Nunez (is he really worth the $$$?)
    Rasmus (another platoon DH option)
Reynolds (even when he mashes, his offense is just replacement level)
Werth (the guy we should have signed in 2011)
    Chris Young (please no)

The return of Pedey will not only help out our weak IF defense, it should strengthen our bench and give Nunez some rest he may need to try and get back to 2017 form. We may even DL Nunez to allow Swihart another 10 days to try and show something (hard to do when he never plays).

Pedey will also halp lengthen our line-up and turn the bottom 3 black-hole slots to 2.

    1. Betts RF
    2. Beni CF
    3. HRam DH
    4. JD LF
    5. Bogey SS
    6. Moreland 1B
    7. Pedey 2B
    8. Devers 3B
    9. Vaz-Leon C

(Actually, with JBJ benched, only 1 black hole.)

What would you do with Swihart when Nunez is activated?
