    Looks like a really bad list to me, meant mainly to 'stir up controversy' i.e. piss people off.

    I didn't realize others rated VTek highly.

    I thought he was under-rated as people pointed to his low CS% (and high WP/PBs for a couple years with Wake) and called him a poor defender.

    No, meant to have a topic to debate.

    Not sure why it would piss people off considering there is one from each team. It's not like one team was singled out.

    I think many sox fans had a tendency to overrate him. They constantly pointed to his record no hitters caught and always clamored for him to move into a manager position.

    That's not really the issue. I get pissed off if I see players from other teams get unfairly slagged too.

    I'm not saying it's not a good topic. I'm just dubious about the guy that made up this particular list when I see some of the selections.

    For one thing, this guy is totally hung up on batting average. I'm not saying you have to use really advanced metrics, but OPS has pretty much replaced batting average.
