This is much better that tracking JBJ and the glass CF.
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.
"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
I like 'Charity Line'. Or as they call the free throw line in basketball, the 'Charity Stripe'.
Perfect Hanley year would be for him to hit the 60 day DL, come back and put up MVP numbers and single handedly win the Sox a WS.
"Now that ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Lemme tell ya them guys ain't dumb
"Now look at them yo-yo's, that's the way you do it"
This thread to me is insulting to Hanley and the Sox. Its one thing to believe the sox wil be better off without a 422 million salary for an player with his skills, it quite another to track his at bats and make negative comments day by day. Hope he doesn't read this as it might impact his performance to know the fan base is hoping for his failure.
So far, HRam has been no Sultan of the Swing.
