Craig Breslow hired as Head Of Baseball Operations

The Sox are hiring Craig Breslow as head of Baseball Operations. He's smart, knows pitching and played for the Sox. I like it.

Someone is typing up the Craig Breslow stink sheet tonight. Notes will be passed around soon.

Hey, he was a pretty important contributor to the 2013 banner.

We also know that the Cubs FO has a lot of Red Sox DNA - so hopefully the transition here is smooth. And of course, if he can establish a high level run prevention operation it's worth it.

Are you actually pessimistic only because he’s from Yale?

Hell no! The Gloom, and Doom is gone, and this is a new beginning. Let’s get to work.

One good sign is it will take more time before the GM is announced, unlike with Bloom, Breslow will get the chance to choose his own GM.

What have we come up with for bad Breslow nicknames so far?

It shouldn't even exist until we see if Henry will let him spend on or trade for top of the rotation starters.

If Breslow is spotted at any flea markets or garage sales, then maybe someone should start a thread called "Sell the Red Sox"
