    Cool thread.

Funniest movie of ALL TIME has got to be the Big Lebowski. I've seen that movie like 5 times and am dying to see it again.

Best movie I've seen recently: Open Water. The first 30 minutes are forgettable, but the last hour is terrifying.

Here's a list of the dvd's I have so far. I only started collecting a couple of years ago.

Can't wait to see Team America when it's out on DVD. And Sky Captain (it looked gay, but got great reviews and looks awesome).

This is highly true. The Dude is one of the greatest characters ever.

You can't go through college and not see that movie.

That scene where he crashes the VW - just thinking about it and I'm cracking up.

The best scene is where the constable from the town throws the coffee mug at the dude, and he goes "Ow! Fucking fascist!" I laugh all the time.

That is IMO the second funniest movie of all time. I have no idea how many times I've seen it, upwards of 15. John Goodman is classic. One of my favorite exchanges:
Jesus Quintana: You ready to be fucked man? I see you rolled your way into the semis. Dios mio, man. Liam and me, we're gonna fuck you up.
The Dude: Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Jesus Quintana: Let me tell you something, bandejo. You pull any of your crazy shit with us, you flash a piece out on the lanes, I'll take it away from you, stick it up your ass and pull the fucking trigger 'til it goes "click."
    The Dude: Jesus.
Jesus Quintana: You said it man. Nobody fucks with the Jesus.
    Walter Sobchak: Eight year-olds, Dude.

I highly recommend Amelie. It may seem a little bit like a chick flick (which it isn't at all), but it is really one of the best movies I have ever seen. Hilarious, unique, and well-made, Amelie is the kind of movie that anyone would like...unless you're illeterate and can't read subtitles. Anyway, go rent it! She'll change your life...

Please tell me that I'm not the only one that thinks "Napolean Dinamite" (sp?) is overrated.
