Thread: Is hockey done?

    Not being a huge hockey fan, I dont really know the state of the game that well. I just know that its pretty bad. Will there be a lockout that will last for a long time now that the season is over? Will this cripple the NHL? Resident hockey fans.... discuss.

    as an huge hockey fan, i hope that they play

    but i have no confidence whatsoever that they will get something done

    In order for Hockey to be saved they need to do something like NFL does. They need a powerful players union but also some stricter salary constrictions so some players don't make so much more than others. Also, Hockey players don't get paid for playoffs which is bad.

    It is funny to me that a Canadian team hasn't won the Stanly Cup is so long.

    I don't care about hockey either, but i don't think it will fold.
