I also saw a video a long time ago, that Monica didn't give Clinton any sexual favors. It was all made up. Later on a conspiracy theory came out on that, and it was right. Point is.... everything that happens politicaly, always have dumbasses trying to to get 15 minutes of fame.

    Propaganda does that.

Sadly, this generation isn't intelligent enough to fend off such attacks. It's a shame where the left elite, praise diversity, but kill any debate to counter their arguments. Seriously, walk into a high school classroom and bring up Iraq. The kids can't even locate it on a map, yet their intelligence is enhanced enough to call it the next Vietnam. Propaganda at it's worse.

I've heard Iraq, being grouped into such terms as "quagmire", and "Vietnam".

Pick up tomorrow's newspaper, and flip to the editoral section. You'll see what I'm talking about. It's so bad even in our local paper (which is owned by the NY Times), that I find myself paying an extra .75 a day for the NY Post. They do a decent job covering both sides. It's rather entertaining as well.

there is no way you can even compare this to vietnam. Vietnam was a totally new type of war, that we have we weren't used to. The jungles were a complete mental factor. And we were fighting imo a much bigger army, and more determined group. I just can't see this being another Vietnam

Well, propaganda goes both ways. These same students 4 years ago probably thought that Iraq had WMD... Didn't almost all of America and the world think that? Guiding stupid people is what governments do. That's why people need leaders.

I love the whole "left" vs "right" thing too. It's a "who's a bigger idiot, them or us" logic. People who choose one side or the other (instead of looking at things objectively) are the type of people most affected by propaganda. The stupids in the world.

    You would think so.

But, as long as the left controls the media, you'll always hear "When Clinton lied nobody died, LOL!" They try to connect the dots, that the WMD slip-ups are comparable to Pentagon Papers back in the 70's. In case, anyone's interested, there's a few documents that have been released that suggest that Saddam made contact with Al-Qaeda as early as 1995.

Of course, there's been a major effort by the Democrats to supress those documents.

Hey, just because I happened to believe that the Invasion of Iraq was justified, doesn't automatically label me a Republican. (I consider myself a Libertarian)

I believe you can have you're own opinion just as long as you're not using Michael Moore, or Michael Savage as your main source.

As for your student analogy, the educational system has always been leftist dominated. Oh, and I recall the majority of Democrats calling the war uncalled for. I doubt their opinion has swayed much.

I'm right there with you. I also think we should put more pressure on Iran and Korea.

I agree. I think Savage, Rush, Ordway and Pete Sheppard should be shot in the head.

How do you figure? Because they require Science and Art? Because they teach History and not myth? Because there are more black than white students? Because educators are naturally more open-minded? If the educational system is leftist, then why are the Republicans in power? If they are leftist, they are doing a pretty poor job in promoting it.

I would agree, I don't think republicans rule this coutnry. Let me ask you something, who has more influence on the people in the nation. Bush or the media????

You figure that because most people against the war are young? Not that hard to figure out there.

The problem is that people are so open minded their brains leak out (stolen from Maddox, sue me).

The media for the most part is liberal biased. That's why you don't see things like this printed in the NY Times.

In the Name of God the Compassionate and Merciful

To the Courageous Men and Women of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who have changed the city of Tall’ Afar from a ghost town, in which terrorists spread death and destruction, to a secure city flourishing with life.

To the lion-hearts who liberated our city from the grasp of terrorists who were beheading men, women and children in the streets for many months.

To those who spread smiles on the faces of our children, and gave us restored hope, through their personal sacrifice and brave fighting, and gave new life to the city after hopelessness darkened our days, and stole our confidence in our ability to reestablish our city.

Our city was the main base of operations for Abu Mousab Al Zarqawi. The city was completely held hostage in the hands of his henchmen. Our schools, governmental services, businesses and offices were closed. Our streets were silent, and no one dared to walk them. Our people were barricaded in their homes out of fear; death awaited them around every corner. Terrorists occupied and controlled the only hospital in the city. Their savagery reached such a level that they stuffed the corpses of children with explosives and tossed them into the streets in order to kill grieving parents attempting to retrieve the bodies of their young. This was the situation of our city until God prepared and delivered unto them the courageous soldiers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who liberated this city, ridding it of Zarqawi’s followers after harsh fighting, killing many terrorists, and forcing the remaining butchers to flee the city like rats to the surrounding areas, where the bravery of other 3d ACR soldiers in Sinjar, Rabiah, Zumar and Avgani finally destroyed them.

I have met many soldiers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment; they are not only courageous men and women, but avenging angels sent by The God Himself to fight the evil of terrorism.

The leaders of this Regiment; COL McMaster, COL Armstrong, LTC Hickey, LTC Gibson, and LTC Reilly embody courage, strength, vision and wisdom. Officers and soldiers alike bristle with the confidence and character of knights in a bygone era. The mission they have accomplished, by means of a unique military operation, stands among the finest military feats to date in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and truly deserves to be studied in military science. This military operation was clean, with little collateral damage, despite the ferocity of the enemy. With the skill and precision of surgeons they dealt with the terrorist cancers in the city without causing unnecessary damage.

God bless this brave Regiment; God bless the families who dedicated these brave men and women. From the bottom of our hearts we thank the families. They have given us something we will never forget. To the families of those who have given their holy blood for our land, we all bow to you in reverence and to the souls of your loved ones. Their sacrifice was not in vain. They are not dead, but alive, and their souls hovering around us every second of every minute. They will never be forgotten for giving their precious lives. They have sacrificed that which is most valuable. We see them in the smile of every child, and in every flower growing in this land. Let America, their families, and the world be proud of their sacrifice for humanity and life.

Finally, no matter how much I write or speak about this brave Regiment, I haven’t the words to describe the courage of its officers and soldiers. I pray to God to grant happiness and health to these legendary heroes and their brave families.

    NAJIM ABDULLAH ABID AL-JIBOURI
Mayor of Tall 'Afar, Ninewa, Iraq
9-11-01 FDNYPD We will not forget.
Just because it's a rivalry doesn't mean you need to make retarded arguments.

Totally agree A-rod. Totally. You look at things, and you have are fucking Veterans supporting bush, and supporting this war, but then you got young fuckers, who don't even know what its like to shoot another man, crying and bitching about how evil we are. Good point A-rod

I assume you mean because that reads like pure propaganda...

I'm serious, this whole left/right thing is so stupid. I had a heated argument with a friend of mine about CNN vs Fox News once. He was all "Fox news is balanced" and I was all like "you're just a fucking retard!" But the stupid thing about it was that even though we both watched those two stations, we had the exact same view of the war in Iraq. Stupid.
