    April 5th @ Texas

Well, I might as well get one started. The anticipation of another game, especially Beckett's debut, is really getting to everyone.

    #19 Josh Beckett (0-0, -.--)
    #43 Kameron Loe (0-0, -.--)

Well, the debut of Beckett! Beckett has never before faced Texas, and Kameron Loe has pitched 3 innings against the Red Sox in his career, giving up 5 hits, 2 walks, and has an ERA of 9.00. Let's light this guy up with the offense, and hope Beckett pitches on the ace caliber level we all know he can. Go Sox!

Sorry for the small picture of Loe, but there's not a large sized picture of him anywhere. If anyone finds one, let me know so I can re-size it and make this more pretty.

Ok wow, the set up is ugly. If anyone finds a better picture of Loe let me know so I can fix it. Just post the link or whatever to the picture.

The Beckett Era is upon us, I'm stoked for tonight's game. Tonight's matchup has Loe who the Sox have only seen in 3 innings of relief, and Beckett has only faced 3 players in the expected Rangers lineup tonight. I got the faith it will be Beckett who comes out on top.

Kameron Loe (2 games vs. Boston, 9.00 ERA---Career at Ameriquest Field in 25 games, 6-4 record & 1 save with a 4.58 ERA)
    1) CF Coco Crisp --
    2) 2B Mark Loretta --
    3) DH David Ortiz, 1 for 2 (.500 avg) 2 RBIs
    4) LF Manny Ramirez, 1 for 1 (1.000 avg) Double
    5) RF Trot Nixon, Walk
    6) C Jason Varitek, 1 for 1 (1.000 avg) RBI
    7) 3B Mike Lowell, 0 for 1
    8) 1B J.T. Snow --
    9) SS Alex Gonzalez --
    Alex Cora, 1 for 1 (1.000 avg)

Josh Beckett (1st career appearance vs Texas)
    1) LF Brad Wilkerson, 8 for 31 (.258 avg) 2 Doubles, Triple, 2 HRs, 3 RBIs, 9 Walks, 16 Ks, SB
    2) SS Michael Young --
    3) 1B Mark Teixeira --
    4) DH Phil Nevin, 3 for 12 (.250 avg) Double, Walk, 4 Ks
    5) 3B Hank Blalock --
    6) RF Kevin Mench --
    7) 2B D'Angelo Jimenez, 1 for 2 (.500 avg)
    8) CF Laynce Nix --
    9) C Rod Barajas, 2 for 2 (1.000 avg) Double, HR, 2 RBIs, Walk
    Ian Kinsler --
    Mark DeRosa, 6 for 18 (.333 avg) 2 Doubles, Walk, 3 Ks

EDIT: D'Angelo Jimenez will get the start at 2nd base, giving rookie Ian Kinsler the day off.

Manny has looked a little uncomfortable in the batters box these first couple of games (especially yesterday when Padilla blew a couple of fastballs by him). Hopefully he gets on track tonight.

JT Snow eh? Will be interesting to see him out there. I love Youk, but I think it's time to give Snow a shot now that Youk hasn't really looked comfortable at all these 2 games.
