Low-pulse rate inning there. That's a nice change.

I have to give the Marlins credit, they are coached very well at "avoiding" the pitch by making themselves bigger targets.

Ugh, Tavares in the pen with a one run lead. Lets hope for some run support.

He'll get the White Sox next time out. If his command is anything like it is today, he's gonna get pummeled by that lineup

He seems alright at dealing around the mess he made. He definitely needs to hit his spots better. It's a shame that Wells got plunked on the knee and Clement just flat out sucks, because Lester ought to be finishing the year in Pawtuckett working on command. Don't get me wrong, the kid has the stuff for being up, but his command is just a bit less than what it needs to be.

About 100 pitches now…I doubt Lester comes back for the 6th. Props again to the way he battles out of jams.

im sure they are trying to help him, and yes he will get crushed with his control like this, but he at least is a better shot at a win than Clement, or Wells or Johnson for that matter
he has to learn and he has the stuff, he just has to control it.

Terry its a close game as it is and the 2 baserunners you signal to steal a base are... Trot & Manny
