Had a really nice steamed salmon with garlic prawns and salad tonight.

One of my winter favourites is chicken vindaloo, spinach/garlic sag aloo and loads of finely chopped crunchy salad.

Al that bacon, pork & butter is for the lardy arses; although I just might be tempted.

sounds wonderful Sarge, I hope you indulge yourself in a good portion of the peat flavoured stuff. Touch of water to bring out the flavour?

Went to the Yale/Princeton game today: hotdogs, hamburgers, sausage, sausage/peppers/onions, shrimp cocktail, baked beans, macaroni salad, pepperoni & cheese, High Life. The weather was so nice we were in shorts. Svedka & Soda tonight.

Harvest dinner at the chapel today. The usual fixins, beets, squash, turkey, gravy, potatoes, and pumpkin pie.
If history tells us anything, the path to redeption for any bad baseball team is marked with a deep rotation of durable starters, a world class defense in both infield and outfield, a lineup that can generate runs in more than one way, a bullpen that won't steal defeat from the jaws of victory, and a top end catcher to hold the whole package together. These are the conditions by which victory is achieved, anything that does not accomplish these objectives is a waste of resources.

Peasant, a touch of water brings out the flavour and aromas, it is absolutely necessary.

Tonights dinner was leg of lamb, roast potatos, roast parsnips, turnips and carrots mixed together, peas and gravey made from the meat juices all washed down with a pinot noir burgandy and followed by key lime pie and a cheese platter. Shafts dinners cannot be beaten.

Tomorrow will probably be some takeout that I picked up on my way home from "Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows".
