Play by marrero late in the game last night was a real gem. A bare haneded grab and throw - Sale appreciated that as much as he did the home run he hit. Probably more!
have to say - i really enjoyed listening to Todd Walker's color commentary last night. I thought that he was very good. His love for the time he spent in Boston came through loud and clear as well.

Everything last night was an absolute gem. Everything From pitching to defence to offense. This team is hitting a beautiful stride and it couldn't have come at a better time with playoffs right around the corner. Not to mention the Yankees haven't slowed down what so ever. The Red sox have taken 7 of their last 10 and have had to with the Yankees right on their tail. Playoffs are going to be exciting. Off day today

I find Walker to be dreadfully boring.

I like both of them now, but Walker was much better in his Games 1, 2, & 3 than Gomes was. That leads me to believe that I'd prefer Walker if he got more games.
It's a mere moment in a man's life between the All-Star game and the Old Timer's game.

I like them both but Walker speaks a language I prefer to Gomeian.

Agreed. I loved Jonny Gomes, both on and off the field. His walk up song in 2013 got me back into the Dropkick Murphys, and his personality is contagious. All around great guy.

When it comes to a nasty punch to the face nothing comes to mind more than Odor punching Bautista....... I still see that in my sleep lmao and Bautista took that punch like a champ. That hit gave me chills lol.

Robin Ventura. He forgot the #1 rule of any battle, know thy enemy, in this case, never try and wrestle/fight with a guy who ranches cattle in the off-season.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough

While it would be nice for Sale to get some rest, I have no problem with Farrell leaving Sale in the game.

    1. Sale didn't have any high stress innings.
    2. He was not laboring. He still looked strong at the end of the game.
    3. He already gets an extra day off with today's off day.
    4. After his last couple of starts, letting him stay in and have a dominating outing, while earning his 300th K, has to be a boost to him mentally.
    5. There is no way Sale would have wanted to come out of that game.

Also, how nice was it to sweep Buck "It's not my job to eliminate the Yankees" Showalter and his dreadful Os? Not to mention quiet the ever so annoying Gary Thorne in the process.
