In the season finale of the previous season in one of the finale scenes, Locke and Ben two of the main characters are meeting with this guy jacob, who has been hinted at for the entire series as the leader behind the curtain of the island so to speak. Locke wants Ben to kill Jacob, so he can take control more or less (there is much more to it than that, but im sure you arn't interested). Ben had been the leader of the others (island orginal inhabitants) for awhile, but was never allowed to meet with Jacob. He was even banished at one point. So basically, Jacob pleads to ben not to kill him for a minute, and Ben goes off on his neglected tangent, that ends with "what about me?" and Jacob says in a smug manner, "what about you?" Ben gets mad and stabs Jacob.

Part of that stems from my remembering this board being a civil place, almost completely devoid of personal attacks and immature humor. The other part of that stems from the fact that outside of my family, this board contains the only people I consider friends and talk to on a daily basis. Having to sort through who hates who and who attacks who in every thread, and then move it to another forum, is tiresome and obnoxious.
