Seems like the yankees aren't too happy about this. God forbid they lose some of that miniscule fan base.

Wouldn't bother me, but I would rather see a team in DC where they could really use one.

Don't they have enough professional sports franchises over there? Aren't there like 10 or so teams from different sports in NYC/NJ... that is quite enough..

Yea, but NJ itself doesnt have any teams except for the nets and devils. Its a relatively big market, but I agree with you that it spills over to the New York thing.

It wont happen ,For a couple of reasons. 1.the evil empire ,the mets ,and the phillies dont want it to happen. 2.The meadowlands where they want to build the stadium is a DUMP!in the middle of the swamps of jersey.3.The expos already said they dont want to go the garden state.Besides we have 4 minor league teams throughout the state and RU baseball.

Lol, isnt all of NJ a dump?
I'm kidding, dont worry. I know a lot of NJers get offended when someone says that. But I agree, this wont happen (and the expos have already said it wont happen). I'm still not sold on the DC idea though. If they call them the senators, then its alright. It would be sweet to see the Senators play.

You are right, NJ is a total dump, lol. Maybe it's the NY in me talking, but New Jersey is a total waste of space, a complete dump
