The San Diego Padres would like to express preliminary interest in Kerry Wood. I've been working on compiling a group of young pitchers:

Jimmy Gobble, Jason Marquis, Kyle Lohse, Jerome Williams, Kurt Ainsworth, Juan Cruz, Jon Rauch, Jake Peavy, Ben Howard.
