In a rematch of the Patriots Day game, the Sox are looking to aggravate more MFY fans. If we lose then no big deal because this game is essentially a mismatch. If we win, then all the more reason to be happy. Tito said he was most likely going to DH Manny today so don't be surprised to see Kapler or Crespo in LF. Start time 1:05.

I hope this game turns out to be like last nights game and arroyo pitches good :D

I'm just worried about Bronson vs. Brown. Its a bit of a mismatch, but hopefully the sox can carry over last night's momentum and further sink the yankees. One more loss and mfy fans begin commiting suicide in droves.

Yea, Brown's ERA is a good 5 points lower than Arroyo's. That's what I'm worried about. But I think the sox still have the momentum and the offense (at least compared to the puny yankee hitters) to win this and the next game.

I cant wait to see the mfy fans get on the players' backs. It'll be great.

Sox out to an early lead. Yankees are still playing catch up

0-18 with RISP is unacceptable. The sox don't deserve to win this one. But if they do, I cant complain.

Wow. This is tense. More like what a sox/yankees game should be.

Bronson pitched much better than I expected, I was impressed. He came apart a little at the end of his outing, but he was alright.

And 0-18 is bad. Unacceptable as you said yeszir. Whew, 2 outs in the 11th now. Damn its a close one!

YES!!!!! Sheff sucks! hahahahhaa! Man, he was almost out 3 times on those pickoff throws. Wow. This is a nail biter for sure.

Wow. Its a mix of excitement and dissapointment for me. 0-18 makes me say: "wtf". That is terrible. From a decent hitting team you'd expect at LEAST 3-18 or more, not an ofer.

MAAAAAAAANYYYY OHHHH!!!!!!! NO! That was sooooo close.

That reminds me, another thing. So many balls have been knocked down its ridiculous. Manny just put a charge in one and ortiz did earlier that resulted in an out. What is going on with Yankee Stadium.

Wow, I hate Rivera because I can never figure out how he's so good with one 90 MPH pitch, even if it is nasty. You can just expect the pitch and know what it's going to do.

Lol, reading over my post you can really see my excitement/dissapointment. I feel like a fool. I want this game to END, in OUR favor! Come on!

Big deal if you know what its gonna do. You try hitting that 90 mph cutter. It moves like 3 feet! Down the plate and then POW, its coming towards your head. Plus he knows where and when to throw it.

Trust me, he isnt just lucky, although I wish that was all.

Manny on 3rd with one out now. Come on.

No posts about Arroyo's performance? I think his best outing in a Sox uniform. Congrats to him on a job well done, but the game's not over yet.

If we can get this or close to this type of starts from him regularly, it would be huge. Even though the MFY aren't swinging the bats very well, it's imporessive to limit them to two runs.

roary did mention it up a little bit. He didnt say much about it, so lets elaborate. He did pitch extremely well and I'm starting to warm up to the idea of him being #5. Pitching like that in New York is a big thing.

IP H R ER BB K HR Season ERA
B. Arroyo 6 4 2 2 2 4 1 5.79

Decently impressive. Good numbers from a number 5 starter, you cant ask for more than that.

YES! Commence the mass suicides in NY! Jeter's 0-21 in his last 21 at bats! Thats hot. WOW. Poorly played game, but I'm glad it went our way. Phew. Now I can rest.

Thats amazing, 0 for his last 21. I think people in New York are starting to realize how vastly overrated he truly is. Nomar's better (even though he has yet to play all season).

And I say again, the sox will be SO DAMN GOOD with nomar and trot back. Just think about it. That means we won't have to see crespo and reese play so much!
