This is me, right now, telling you all to download every single episode so far of ABC's show "lost". It's the single most thrilling, amazing show ever, really. It's what makes Wenesdays bearable for me, no joke.

If you watch it, how about tonight's show! It was crazy!

And while you're at it, download the entire discography of Duran Duran. You won't be disappointed, right, yeszir?

Just tell me that english dude in the band was eaten by the monster by now. I hated that guy. Didn't he retrieve drugs that were shoved up his ass?

No, he's gotten over his drug addiction now....and I'm beginning to think that there is no monster. The show is crazy enough without it. It's something else...

Ok, I watched it again tonight and thought..... it really was no better than the first 3 I watched. Which isn't bad, mind you, it's just that I have a problem with the characters. And I can't remember any of their names, so I'll call the lead dude Jack and the lead chick Jane....

Most annoying moment (outside of that dude living after being hanged... <_< ), was the scene where you hear a blood-curtling screem in the jungle (I actually jumped to turn the TV down) and they start running up the hill. Then Jane asks Jack where's he's going because she didn't hear the shreek. The rain wasn't that loud. Totally unbelievable.

I guess that my problem. All the characters seem so made up. Almost made up as the series goes along.

I totally get the 24 thing where you never really know about any of the characters except Jack(!) and his hotty daughter, but it just seems this show is pulling things out of it's ass - and marginal writing/acting is somehow making it entertaining.

Oye. Maybe you should PM me with everything I've missed so far. Again, it's entertaining (and if they start showing Alias after it starting Jan), I'll probably watch it every week if I like Alias.

About that shriek, there have been hallucinations, and if you had watched some previous episodes, you'd know that was one. This episode was decent for what it promised in the future, not what it gave by itself really.

If you have the time, i suggest you start from the beginning, so you can know whats going on I guess. The show revolves around discovering stuff about the characters. Thats what makes it crazy.

Sex and the City to me is a lot like Alias as far as who likes them. I've never really seen either, except for maybe 1 episode each. Are they "chick shows" that appeal to guys, or are they just good shows?

Kim Catrall ..... mmmm

And Yeszir, don't worry about your friends. I was the biggest Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan and none of my friends ever understood the show. They totally missed out. To each his own.

sex in the city really isn't that bad. it's tolerable, funny at times. plus it's basically about girls loving sex. i have NO problem watching that with my gf.

I enjoyed the 1st season of Lost a lot. The second season to me has been a little dull. The flashbacks have been boring to me and the characters have been bitching at each other all season long and nothing really new or interesting has been revealed except for the episode which they met the others. I know others may disagree but after recently starting to watch 24 I feel that 24 is much > Lost.

Here is a list of my shows. I have a dvr (it's like TIVo)

It's listed pretty much from Sunday - Saturday (maybe one or two mess-ups).

1 NBA Access with Ahmad Rashad
2 Survivor
3 Sopranos
4 American Dad
5 Grey's Anatomy
6 Red Sox This Week
7 King of Queens
8 Prison Break
9 How I Met Your Mother
10 - 24
11 American Chopper
12 Scrubs
13 House
14 King of Cars
15 Lost
16 American Inventor
17 ER
18 My Name is Earl
19 The Office
20 Las Vegas
21 CSI
22 Inside This Old House
23 Every Red Sox game I can...
24 Every Patriots game I can...
25 Every Celtics game I can...
26 College Basketball....
27 College Football (not so much)...

Ya that adds up to more than 20 hours per week of TV. This might seem bad, but the national avg. for TV watching per week is about 27 in children. I couldn't find avg. for adults. Now you might say this guy must be a big fat heffa right? NOT... I work with kids so I'm active all day. I play basketball and other games approx. 20 hours per week. I play in 2 basketball leagues and hike on a regular basis.

So how does he do it? Well for just $19.95 I can help you!

I completely lost interest midway through the 3rd season, in part because of the ridiculous mid-season break and in part because the show just got stupid. Or so I thought.

But sweet jesus did the show get good again. The creators clearly know what they are doing, and I hereby recant anything bad I may have said about the show in the past few months.
