After serving as the team's iron man for the first 17 games, third baseman Bill Mueller was given a day of rest by manager Terry Francona.
What do you think of Mark Bellhorn filling in for Mueller -- both at third base and in the No. 2 slot?

Eh, it really isnt that big of a deal to me. Mueller (along with Manny) had played every single game of the season and he needed a rest. Bellhorn, although he can't hit for beans, gets on base a lot, so it wasnt like we were losing out on a lot. Plus he can hold his own with a glove.
He'll be back, and we got the win. Thats what matters. :D

Mueller's been one of the top hitters on the sox so far, so it was a little strange to see him sit out the final game of a yankees series, but I guess Tito wanted him to have two days of rest in a row. Manny essentially was rested when he was DHed yesterday, and he has another day off tomorrow. A well rested ballclub is a happy ballclub I guess.
