It's the first meeting against the much feared Devil Rays (I'm shaking in my boots) for the sox all season. It is also the start of a very short 3 game homestand (all against the Rays). Wakefield faces off against Abbott.

Hey, the devil rays aren't in last place at least, and they're tied with the yankees in the division. Hopefully we can manhandle them like we did the Yankees and coast on to 3 easy victories.

But it seems like the Devil Rays occasionally give us trouble, and they're never the easy win that they should really be. Maybe its just my imagination though.

I'm just glad that it's time for baseball again. That off day killed me. Even if it is against the D-Rays, it's still baseball. We need to really beat up on them all season to get as many wins as possible. Its what we need to keep the yankees down.

Hey yawkeyway, what are you talking about "even though it's the Drays"? I love playing Tampa because they are ususally terrible and there are even the occasionaly brawl. Tampa means fun games.

Hopefully the Sox can continue a long winning streak. Let's not overlook the Rays, though, as they are much improved.

Maybe we'll even get a chance to knock down Zim!

Damn the rain delay.

WHOA. A huge bolt of lightning just hit right near my house and the radio that I was listening to made a crackling noise for 10 seconds. Thats freaky.

So, odds on this game being called off anyone? I say 3:1. The field looks soaked.

How right you are. Game postponed. Day-night doubleheader Thursday. Damnit! I wanted baseball today!

Oh no, two days without baseball now! This is turning into that span of 3 or 4 days we had off 2 weeks ago. I can't stand it!

Offdays are too tough, I hate them. Two in a row are even worse.
