This is where I will post all my trades and stuff and what the "fans" think of them here in the capital :) Enjoy :) Please refrain on posting in here unlesss instructed.
Pre Free-agency:
Schill trade on radio:
"This just out, the Washington Nationals and Chicago Whitesox have just worked out a blockbuster deal sending Curt Schilling, Ben Ford, and Shawn Hill to the Whitesox for Adam Dunn and Ubdalo Jiminez. The fans may not like this deal but it was a great one. The Nationals dumped lots of salary and lost a older player in Schill who will become terrible after spring training. Also they aded Adam Dunn the ALS HR leader and number 2 prospect in the league Jiminez. Also, they had faith in there pitching and had an outfield gap with Hidalgo testing the Market"
Free Agents:
Radio Station on Guardado- " The Washington Nationals have just filled up there closer position after the loss of Trevor Hoffman this offseason. Today Wash GM yanks in 05 has announced that the team has came into conditions with closer Eddie Guardado for a 9,700,000 dollar contract ofer 2 years. This was a great signing for Washington to fill there need."
Radio Station on Ray King- "The Washington Nationals have just completed there league best Bullpen by adding lefty hurler Ray King. He was signed for 8.4 million dollars over 2 years. Again this was a great fill in by Wash. Ray being a fan favorite and a top reliever came to Wash to complete there all league bullpen."
Radio Station on Omar Vizqael- "After dispute by Omar Vizqael he decided to sign with the Nationals after a mistake by the league front office in the paper work. Omar signed a 1,840,002 deal over two years. This may have been a sound signing but a great one. Omar will fill the hole at SS until Khalil Greene is ready for promotion, also once ready Omar will help him through and will add a great glove. Plus, he adds great leadership to this fairly young team."
Post FA Trades:
Espn News on Wash-STL Trade- "Has the future came to Washington? Prospect David Baily, 18 years old, 998 talent has been packaged along with Defensive Specialist David Tyner to Washington for Eric Bedard an old spect, Minor League OFer Aaron Guiel and Joe Kennedy. STL was interested becaseu of Joe Kennedy who had great talent but would have been in Washingtons minors and would have been the 8th man. Looks like Wash makes a great deal here. Props to the gm. "
Washington Radio on Wash-Det Trade: "Soon after aquiring the "Future" Washington and newly hired manager badbeanies have made there first of many to come deals, however this one being minor. Joey Dawley minor league pitcher from Wash has been traded to Det for Relief pitcher Jaime Emiliano and 200,000 dollars in cash. Looks like a solid deal for both sides, both getting needs."
Arizona Radio on Wash-Ariz trade: "And when it rains it pours, Ariz gm has just traded away ace pitcher Barry Zito for a coveted sp spect in David Bailey and rp spect in Arnie Munoz. The fans from Ariz are furious with this trade, why trade your ace for someone who will be ready in 3 years? If Arizona is trying to rebuild, im not attending anymore games"
Washington Radio on Wash-Ariz trade: "Breaking news from George Washington stadium, the Nationals have just aquired ace pitcher Barry Zito for David Baily and And arnie Munoz. This was an amazing trade for wash. Theygot a needed ace and gave away spects which they had a surpluss of having the best system in the league. Looks like we are heading to the ship wha'!"
Washington Radio on Wash-Col Trade: "Washington has just aquired Eric Byrnes a great gap hitter and an amazin fielder to fill that big RF/LF gap. All wash had to give was Jamie Emiliano, recently aquired from Det. A great addition to the Washington team."
