One of the leagues emerging stars, richard Jefferson is out for the year with a injury to his hand.

Makes the Celtics playoff run that much easier.

Oh crap, I thought you were talking about Al Jefferson because I didn't see the thread originator and it only said "Jefferson." Nice, I don't like RJ and Big Al needs the floor time.

As far as the Celtics' playoff run, don't expect it to be a deep one. They'll get massacred by anyone with even a semblance of an idea of what's going on in the East. Miami looks like the real deal from this conference.

You seriously think theyll miss the playoffs? Theyll probably end up 7th or 8th, but that is the playoffs, isnt it? Also, I meant to say run to the playoffs, everyone knows theyll go nowhere and it will be Detroit vs. Indy in the EC finals.

How could you not like RJ? Is there something twisted about Boston where good natured, all around nice people are horrible? Anyway, I hope RJ has a speedy recovery

Man... I forgot MIA, theyll lose to Detroit in the ECF though. Theyre just too good. Theyve allowed like 77 ppg in their last 6 games or something and they can shoot the ball. But, theyll lose in the finals to San Antonio

this is a huge blow to the nets, with him i dunno they may have just taken the East but without they may be tinkering on the brink of not making the playoffs

looks like the nets are doing ok without RJ (Better than before) vince and kidd are handling the show. vince has had 2 straight games of 40+

Celtics just came from down 20 to beat the Clippers. I dont know if anyone else saw it but Blount probably played his best game of the year. Delonte played his best game of his career. Pierce, Raef and Tony all had great games too...

Knicks are terrible. Celtics are outscoring them by 52 or something like that so far this year.

just like how they lost to the lakers right?

miami is a thread.. you can't go against them in the east.. they have a legit center, a young stud who can make plays happen and a couple vets to go with them.

Knicks are a joke, adding Webber will only exacerbate the cap problem  And with his luck, C Webb will start experiencing more knee pain BECAUSE he went to the Knicks (if he gets traded at all)
