I really don't think this can possibly be a fair trade. Who else agrees?

Tyler Johnson is a reliever spec. He is also 23 and hasn't peaked any ratings. I think this is why most of you are holding it up.
Bob Howry and 4 Mil are what hes basically giving up.
Cepicky doesn't start for him and won't start for me unless injury.

Perez has 9 eye and good speed to lead off. 6 power against righites whom he'll face must the time. 4 range and 1.000 fielding percent he could win a gold glove. Hes Young and cheap.

I think you have overvalued relievers. Kansas City had contacted me and inquired about Perez; stating he wanted a leadoff hitter. I then said I would trade Kata or Perez because I want someone to start one of them full time. He said he wanted Perez.

We worked on the trade he offered me prospects with grim futures. I said no. He then offer me Tyler Johnson I looked I didn't really like him that much because he was 23 a reliever spec and wasn't ready for the MLB.

Cepicky and Howry were left over from the discussion earlier. Cepicky was okay but he wasn't going to start for me but I figured he could backup my outfield and fill in for anyone of them if they got hurt. Howry is just a reliever and may be rated 4.0 stars but is a 8-7-8 and is 31. So I took on Payroll in this trade not very much but some. Star ratings also mean nothing in OOTP. Bartolo Colon is a 2.5 star pitcher and won 20 games while losing 7. Roy Halladay is a 4.5 and went 17-12.

Antonio Perez is a young, 25 years old, and cheap witha 300,000 contract. He has 4 range and a perfect 1.000 fielding percent easily a gold glove candiadate. He has 10 eye, which is the max against LHP and 5 contact so although hes worse at hitting LHP he will still get on base. Shortstops aren't meant to be hitters like Alex Rodrigeuz and Perez is a great shortstop in terms of speed glove and RHP hitting.

END OF RANT!

IMO, the 4 million sends it overboard.

I can understand this. For the most part I have been told it would be vetoed because Perez sucks.

Here's the thing, regardless of your knocks on Johnson, he is still a 5.0 spect and that carries significant weight -- it is something you cannot merely dismiss. If he truly doesn't mean anything to you take him out.

This trade is not vetoable. It's been agreed that it's fine. It may look a little lopsided, but both managers have stated their reasoning. Both have legit reasons. Plus, it's already in anyhow.

A 5.0 reliever spec carries a significant weight. Why?

my two cents:

In the beginning, we talked about only voiding trades from NEW GMs and if we thought it would be detrimental to the league. I have to say both KC and ANA are experienced in this league and should be given the benefit of the doubt.
