What I need:
Basically looking for improvements at any position. Salary is not a concern (within reason of course), as long as the player performs up to his paycheck.
A trade is certainly not necessary, but I'm always willing to exchange ideas.
Main weakness: Left handed power.
MLB Players for trade:
Brian Roberts (http://www.talksox.com/sim/p41.html)--Played reasonably well last year for me in a full time role. With Edgar in the fold, he becomes a bench player because I'm still committed to Brandon Phillips.
Felipe Lopez (http://www.talksox.com/sim/p345.html)--A great backup because he can play 3 IF positions.
Julio Lugo (http://www.talksox.com/sim/p333.html)-- A decent shortstop. Has no place on this team with Renteria on board.
Matt Kinney (http://www.talksox.com/sim/p411.html)-- 2.0 SP Another solid starter. This guy is 5-0 with a 2.02 ERA in AAA this season.
Ben Howard (http://www.talksox.com/sim/p478.html)-- 2.0 SP With 8-6-8 ratings, he's underrated at 2.0
Scott Proctor (http://www.talksox.com/sim/p1429.html)-- 2.0 RP. Decent arm, great control.
Peter Bergeron (http://www.talksox.com/sim/p1419.html) 2.5 OF, just 26 years old. Can get on base (6 contact, 7 eye), and plays good defense.
RP Ben Weber (http://www.talksox.com/sim/p1167.html) -- a decent RP who logged a lot of innings for me last year. He's dominating AAA so far in 2005
