This is a matter that came up earlier. I don't know how many people are on the waiting lizt, but they can maybe pick what team they want to assist, but its up to the GM and if the GM is not active for a while the assistant can take over.

bad idea... very very bad idea...
there is a 99.9999% chance that the two people will have dif philosophies... theyl just fight and bitch and not get along and one will do something the other one doesn't want to and then the other guy will want to take it back and so on and so forth... BAD idea

well wut about that assistant is only allowed to post lineups and wut not when the real GM does not have time and the assistant has no power in trades or fa signings. they are also the first to become the real GM if he/she drops out

The assistant GM only does what the GM says. I think they should know each other well to.

I happen to like this idea a lot, when i started i didnt kno how to do shit, then slowly i learned. If we did this he GM tells the Assistant what to do and how to do it and when there is a GM spot open the administrator o' the league can ask all the GMs if their assistant is ready for the job, etc.

well only problem i have with assistant GMs is that im in a league with has one team, and id always get deals done with one of them, then the other gets back to me and cancels it or tries to get more, i think id be confusing, personally.

yeah the learning part would be interesting... but alot of GMs that join already have experience and arent going to like being held back from doin stuff...

The Assistant GM would not have the power to veto or try to tade anyone on the team, maybe they can control AAA rosters. Not by trading spects or anything but organizing the rosters and lineups, after the GM aproves it. For example, if I exceed the number of players allowed in AAA (50) then he could tell me what he thinks we should do, etc.
