I've seen this done elsewhere, and it can be ridiculously awesome. Let's test each other's knowledge. Kinda ties into the movie thread. Starting off easy:

Sounds close to me. I'm saying Savana Nights or Sahara or something. It's one of those.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0066434/

http://www.allmovie.com/cg/avg.dll?p=avg&sql=FTHX|1138

A good little film if you like the Lucas style. A little slow, but Lucas redid all the graphics like he did in the Star Wars re-release. It's a little distracting, but there are a lot of effects in it that he later used again in Star Wars. The chase at the end is the best part (go figure with Lucas).

CalvnHobs6

Nope and nope. Hint # 1:
The movie is from 1989. It was significant because of its confrontation of racism in a black neighborhood between blacks, Italians, and Koreans. It's a Comedy/Drama...sort of a comedy that turns into a drama.

CalvnHobs6
05-26-2005, 08:47 PM
Hint# 2, if this doesn't give it away, I don't know what will. This director at the beginning of all of his movies refers to them as, "A (director's name) Joint."
