look, i don't know what all this bs is about but it's really making this site lame. you should NEVER advertise your site on someone elses site, it's an unwritten rule of forums. just respect it. the best way to spread your side is using a pm. pm certain knowledgeable members that you think can contribute to the site, the rest will follow.

THe "spamming" wasn't condoned by the site, is was done in a semi-harmless way as a result of one of our contests, the rules of which have now been changed. And the problem is now being handled by me, I was away the last two nights and as such it got out of control.
