Mike Mussina, 0-0, 3.00 ERA

Tim Wakefield, 0-0. 2.70 ERA

Wakefield was 1-0 with a 1.83 ERA vs the Yankees last year. He had a very decent start against them this year, going 6 2/3 IP and getting up two runs...both on solo shot HR. I'd take that start any day of the week. Kevin Millar and Doug Mirabelli can hit Mussina, but hopefully the bats will come alive for the rest of the lineup too.

Can't wait for the rings. I think MLB.com is showing just the ring ceremony for free.

Classic moments:
Rivera getting a bigger ovation than any sox player
Pesky saying "Leskanic, you son of a bitch"

The bases are chock full of sox for Millar. We need to capitalize.

Rent is kinda frustrating, but he's got some leeway with some big hits, but we could've really done the Yankees in with another run there.

The Yankees look more helpless than we do. I love it!

And A-rod getting booed. That rivera thing was awesome. I give respect to the yankees for watching. I think they understand they had their time now its our turn.

Next Sox game I go to, I'm going to start a Hanley chant when Renteria comes up to the plate.

I have to say. Of all our starters... Wakefield has given us the two strongest outings... why can't we get this guy an extension... at least as like a bullpen guy.

That was great when we gave Arod a standing ovation when he made a play. I couldn't stop laughing.

I thought Arod getting the standing O when he made a clean-ish play at third was classic.

I guess when Wells pitches you'll start a Papelbon chant.
