No time to do an all out thread as I'm about to head out the door to get to Fenway. B) Maybe someone can post it up later, it was just getting late so I figured I'd make one.

Bronson going for 5 wins!

I honestly think there is no way we can lose this game. Bronson has been studly all year and we seem to be able to hit Oakland well judging from yesterdays breakout offensive game.

And, let's remember...OAKLAND SUCKS. No hitting, for *uck's sake, they were having Hatteverg hit clean up. Durazo's pretty good though. Who the hell is this pitcher? One of Billy Beane's "strategic moves?"

Apparently, with a 5.64 era.

Yeah, that 5.64 ERA is really showing...(sarcasm)...its the top of the fifth, Arroyo's pitching a helluva game, and our offense has two hits. I mean what the hell??? Come on guys, show up. I personally knew that while Damon got held up at third he was going to get stranded. I mean it always happens. He shoulda send him to see what coulda happened. Although, it may not have been the safest way to see if we could of scored.

Ever since last year when Dale got a bunch of people thrown out at the plate and had his job in jeopardy, he never takes any risks.

i can understand his reluctance...right now in the bottom of the 5th with 2 on i can only hope in the end it doesnt matter that he didnt send him

I don't want him going to the pen...nooooo. So anyway, what's the deal? When we get Schill and Wells back we got Schill, Wells, Clement, Miller, Wake and Arroyo... I hope to God Arroyo doesn't go to the pen but we'll see. Maybe 6 man rotation, everyone is just plain nasty right now.

The way Arroyo is pitching, there's no way that he's going to the pen. Schill is going to be out longer than we think. By then, someone will need a DL stint.

i agree schillingouttheks. im for 6 man rotation. we are stacked right now in the pitching dept when schill and wells get back

Very frustrating this game is. Our offense can't even hit the A's starter, while Arroyo pitches a gem. I mean for f*ck's sake...I can't even pronounce the A's starter's name!!!!!

Yeah we do. Its pretty embarassing how we cant take advantage of an amazing pitching performance by Arroyo.

Dumb and Dumber

Harry: You know Lloyd, just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself.

Thats exactly how I feel about Millar tonight. After those awful plays in the field he totally redeemed himself.

He loses the game with his glove and wins it with the bat.

If this means Millar has finally started hitting, the pitchers of the AL are toast, at least for a while. Anyone rememer the tear he went on last year after the All-Star break?

Nice win - studly pitching from all, including Embree :).
