7:05 tonight. It'll be cold at the ballpark with temperatures dropping into the high 40s, and partly cloudy.

http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/425555.jpg #35 Daniel Cabrera (4-3 5.30) vs.

http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/150063.jpg #52 Wade Miller (1-1 6.16)

Cabrera, who is searching for consistency, faced the Seattle Mariners in his most recent start, allowing just one run in seven innings with eight strikeouts. But in his previous outing, against the Phillies, he gave up seven earned runs in 3 2/3 innings. The Orioles need a productive Cabrera to compensate for the injury to Erik Bedard.

Miller was rocked by the Blue Jays in his last start, giving up six hits and seven runs over two innings. Two starts ago, Miller was terrific, working 6 1/3 innings and allowing just one run in a win over the Braves. Miller has faced the Orioles just once in his career, working seven innings and allowing three earned runs in a win for the Astros during the 2003 season.

Lopez killed us last night as usual, and this team has shown as of late that it can score some runs. Hopefully Miller keep the damage down and we score more than 1.

The Red Sox will win. Count on it. Oh yeah also, Kevin Brown takes the hill for the Yanks tonight as they travel to KC, where Zack Greinke will take the mound for the Royals. Hopefully Brown will get very frustrated again, and it will be deja vu (I can never spell that right....)

Greinke is a very talented young righty who's only enemy is his lack of run support... expect that to be no different tonight... :(

Wade Miller had 3 strong outings vs. 1 bad one, so I have a feeling he will rebound and get us a win tonight... although I could be completely wrong.

Shoulda had Youk start at second or something. Having manny gone and bellhorn in the lineup and payton takes off like 3 runs for the game.

considering that Youk isn't all that good at 2nd, I'd rather not. Bellhorn has the best DP out of anyone.

I see Millar is back in. hmph.

I hate people too. I hate any Yankee, I hate Marat Safin, and I hate Byung-Hyun Kim.

Anyways, Im sick of people predicting wins, that has not been good recently.

he is.

Millar needs to get some hits tonight or we won't see much of him IMO.

Why do you hate Safin? He's soooo good.

Yeah, hes very good (even though he got whipped up on by Robredo in 5 sets... and even though he sucks on clay), but, he just has that evil look to him. And he beat Federer in the Austrailian Open (hes been my favorite before he was number one).

I thought everyone made fun of him for that? When he swings that drumstick....come on, how can you not laugh. :) Glad to see this team producing against the pitching powerhouse that is Cabrera.

Miller's been a good pick up. He's one of those guys who look dominant even when he's not, yet is quiet about it when he is.

Wow. I've never though of baseball players on terms of adorableness. Maybe we should get Jenny Finch to play for the sox? I'd be up for it. (hehe, "up", get it?)

Better than good. Great pitching, good hitting, more proof Olerud should be in instead of Colonel Sanders, Renteria continues to hit the ball well, and Bellhorn is hitting too... I love it.

You guys better fix this weather problem you're having. ;) Last baseball game I saw this year was windy and 60 degrees and I was freezing. I might die at Fenway.

With wind too, outside at our match today it was like 45, with wind. I was freezing cold. Its 1 hour and 50 mins till June, thats a shitty excuse for weather, it should be 60 at the least.

Nice win, and another low blow to all the Red Sox fan-critics. First Clement, then Renteria, now Miller...If only people would learn to wait for them to come through instead of badmouthing them in the first two months.

 Thanks. Ive always liked the way Youkie plays...but dont get me wrong, theres not really a Sox player I DONT like, except one. Even Millar and Bellhorn, for all their faults, have come through when the moment arrives....whether it be against the A's or in the ALCS.

But the true gems are the ones who are gonna come roaring from the backround, IMHO.

It's not that I don't like Millar or Bellhorn... I just don't like seeing them in the lineup when Olerud is hitting so well and for some reason we won't move Hanley up to AAA.

BTW, back to tonight: Royals 5 v. Yankees 3 in the 7th inning.

Understandable....unfortunately its majority rules sometimes... :thumbdown .....even if theres someone better or more promising.

Yanks could easily be up right now. Womack was picked off first with 1st and 3rd. DeJesus made a great running catch on another 1st and 3rd vs. Sheffield.

My boy Dub was dominant tonight. I told you guys he could be the best on our staff when healthy (except for Schill and a controlled Clement). He and Clement are just lights out right now. Hopefully, Bronson will get back on track as well.

Thanks, everyone. Thankfully everything except the hail missed us and was just further north. I just now also saw (just now turned back on the comp.) that the Yankees lost. If Kevin Brown can't beat the Royals, who can he beat?

Nothing...he can't even beat inanimate things.
