I found this web-site while looking for sox stuff,it has a few red sox nation items, that seemed cool.I was at Fenway on Sat to witness that messy display of pitching in the late innings.What can the SOX do to improve that?

Since I've been gone, welcome to the site. I saw Friday's game at the Fens, and although I just listened to Saturday's, I think because of Keith Foulke's miserable outing Fri. I can answer this. I think to improve it we need to figure out first what's wrong. The main problem: Alan Embree.

I think (and hope) Embree will come around, but until then I just try to use other assortments of our pitchers in key situations. Pretty much everyone but Embree and Foulke are fine, so I'd just put Embree in some situations with a good lead and with no inherited runners until he gets back on track.
