1-0... 'cause vernon wells misplayed a ball... haha great fielding this series so far.... it should be 2-0.... but they couldn't capitalize with runners on corners and no outs...

This is probably, so far, the most shoddily played game of the entire year from both sides. The whole series has been terrible. Crespo just dropped that fly ball, luckily they didnt score because of it. And the Blue Jays are even more pathetic. Orlando Hudson had a terrible throw, and balls got through that shouldn't have. It's a painful game to watch.

There is something that's made it not so painful...WE'RE WINNING! Another scoreless first inning, so we should be fine.

I love Youkilis hes my new favorite player

yeszir
05-15-2004, 01:09 PM
That's really really impressive. In his first at bat he showed a lot of power despite popping up, and now he goes and kills one. If he can't make an immediate impact this year he sure will in years to come. Dare I say, he'll be the cornerstone of the team.

YanksHater213

wow, i didnt even think he would start let alone homer...

GO KEVIN!!!

Knee for Mueller. He's supposed to be back on Tuesday.

Good for Youkilis (You-Kill-Us)!

Bellhorn will have a negative impact on this game. Trust me

Yea, Remy was talking about this before the game. He had his knee all iced today, after they thought he'd be able to play. Better safe than sorry I guess.

But what caused the injury, does anyone know? Did he foul something off of it?

YanksHater213

mueller needed time off anyways, he was struggling badly

Saw the replay of Mueller busting his knee-cap in Wrigley. Man, I hate watching stuff like that. It's amazing he came back and won the Batting Title last year.

They won't hold on. The teams playing the yankees always manage to blow it. <_<

But I wouldn't say this one is in the bag yet, no matter how weakly the jays are playing. It isn't in the bag until the 27th out is made.

a great dominant performance today by Bronson, 8 innings, 3 hits, 6 Ks, much better than BK could have done vs this potent Blue Jas offense

Bronson certainly impressed today, as did the entire team (especially youki).

anyone else wanna slam me now for favoring Arroyo over Kim? Arroyo is a better-than-#5 starter.

i never was gonna slam you. other people were, maybe asian people that favor kim over bronson. as of right now, bronson is a much better pitcher and value for his contract.

As of right now, yes Bronson is much better than Kim. But in the future, in two to three years from now, Kim will be a top notch starter. I've been saying this, so you (rsr) may have been referring to me and some others. No doubt Kim is pitching shittily right now, there's no denying it.

I just don't think people are giving him enough credit. They see him struggling (although just in a few games really), and they immediately renounce him, without looking at career stats.
