So..if i had to choose my favorite National League team, it'd be the Diamondbacks. No particular reason, except for Hillenbrand and RJ. Anyway. I was checking the box score for today's game on Yahoo, and something caught my eye.

Third to last name on the list. They used PITCHER (former sox pitcher) Casey Fossum as a pinch runner, and he actually scored a run. I can't say I've ever seen that before.

ive seen pitchers pinch hit for other pitchers before. that is kind of odd. casey fossum always seemed like a person who could have substantial speed. but i guess bob brenly knows best, he scored

Damn, we should have held on to him. He would have solved our speed problem..... :D

That is very strange. The boy's scrawny enough so maybe he is speedy.

I never thought of Casey as a speedster
