Hello, my name is Jason. Currently live in Olympia, WA, but have spent the better part of the past three years down in Oakland, CA, and will be returning to Oakland next month. Of course my first favorite team is the Mariners, being that they are my hometown team. But I have been a fan of the Red Sox since I was around 11, partly because I loved Fenway Park, partly because I had a couple relatives in Boston, and partly because I always had some favorite players on the Red Sox. So the only thing that could've been more thrilling than the Red Sox winning last year would've been the Mariners winning. ;)

I used to like Mo Vaughn, when he played for the BoSox. John Valentin, Tom Gordon, Heathcliff Slocumb, Tim Wakefield, then Nomar, Pedro, Derek Lowe. Nowadays David Ortiz is one of my very favorites, and I like Damon and Ramirez and Schilling and Foulke. I'd really like to see a game at Fenway someday. B)

Anyway, thanks for the welcomes. I am Northwest born and raised but will be returning to the Bay Area (CA) next month. Anybody on here from the Bay Area?
