how could the redsox suck this year. our pitching is better, our hitting is better, our bullpen is better. how many players do you have in the top 6 in every triple crown category.
lets see who is better between

nomar and jeter- jeter is batting 240 something, while nomar has been hitting well in his few games.

manny and sheff- manny is in the top 6 in every triple crown category, enough said

giambi and ortiz- RBI leader for the AL, what has giambi done? jack shit!

damon and bernie- damon is on pace for 100 rbis, and is actually not old and a has been like bernie

tek and posada- this ones close but tek wins because of posadas abnormal beak. tek is a better all around player than posada, posada can just hit

petey and vazquez- petey leads the AL in strikeouts and has gotten little run support.

schilling and mussina- mussina just plain sucks this season. schilling is top 3 in Ks with petey and i believe he has 7 wins

williamson, embree, timlin and gordon, quantrill, and whoever- williamson was looking amazing this season before he got hurt. embree and timlin have been lights out for the most part. gordon used to be a 40 save man, now he sucks. quantrill is another one of your washup, overrated players

foulke and riviera- this is where the yanks win. riviera is one of the greatest closers ever, even though foulke has allowed only 2 or 3 runs this season

See, at least sox fans can make an argument. I know its a moot point now because that little fucker is banned, but THIS is how you make an argument. You use facts. And statistics. And you don't act stupid.

Anyway, the fight section saw a lot of activity at least. :D

its a fact brother...its also a fact that Posada has 4 rings and Tek has 0...but all around Varitek is better...Posada is known only as a Offensive catcher.

EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO FIND A LIFE!!!

EDIT- I guess I should sum all this up. The Red Sox need to find that spark they had last year, because they have an excellent and talented ballclub. As fashionable as it is to hate on Nomar right now, let him get healthy, and he'll produce down the stretch. They will start clicking again soon enough.

Note- the only reason I really looked all that up was because he said Gordon sucks, and I want to refer to that. Not trying to make you look bad or anything.

thats all good, except for the fact that pedro is better than vazquez. pedro was inconsistent in the beginning but has now found his groove. stats dont tell all. pedro is what i call a gamebreaker. he can go everytime he pitches for 7 strong innings. vazquez is a great pitcher, and can pitch well on any given night, but he gives up way too many homeruns.

about gordon... yes he is pitching well, but i wrote that before he started really playing above average

Trust me, I know Pedro's the better pitcher, and I know stats don't tell all. I'm the biggest Jeter defender there is, so I have to know that. Just showing that Javy is a damn good pitcher too, and could be up on Pedro's level in a few seasons.

and he probably will be, i never doubted that jeter was one of the best shortstops, i never doubted that javy was a great pitcher
