I'm wondering how many ballparks we could say we've been to as a group. I bet we could eventually get em all. So, add whatever ballparks you've been to to the list that arent already on it. Also include ballparks of the past. I'll start it off:

Fenway Park - Boston
Yankee Stadium - New York
Oriole Park at Camden Yards - Baltimore
Exposition Stadium - Montreal

Sadly, I have only been to Fenway. I really REALLY want to go somewhere else because (very sorry) I hate Fenway.

Fenway
Turner Field
Camden Yards

Camden Yards (already on the list)
Arlington Stadium (now called Ameriquest or some such nonsense)

And two defunct parks:
Candlestick (Giants' old park -- yes, it was windy when I was there)
Memorial Stadium (O's old park)

Sadly, I think that is all.

There's a surprisingly large number of National League parks up there. I would have thought that it would almost exclusively be AL parks, since we're Boston fans and all. I guess the Baseball fan in all of us outshines the Sox fan.

Here's my list:

1. Fenway
2. Wrigley
3. U.S. Cellular (Comiskey)
4. Network Associates (A's)
5. Dodger Stadium
6. Angel Stadium? (they keep changing the name)

For all of you out there who are dying to see Wrigley, let me go on the record and say that it's not such a great park. The food is WRETCHED, there are few "good seats", and it usually takes 30 minutes just to get out of the park after the game because it is so cramped. Also, the Cubs fans treat the game more as a social event than a baseball game. Most don't show up until after game time, and leave well before the end. Their lack of baseball knowledge disgusts me. Fenway is 100 times better, trust me. The only good thing Wrigley has going for it is the abundance of bars surrounding the stadium. If you want to catch a baseball game in Chicago, go to U.S. Cellular. Despite what a lot of people say, its really a great park: no bad seats, GREAT food, very knowledgable fans...just a great baseball experience. And my rant is over :)

At least for me, I've been to the NL parks during inter-league play. I live right near Atlanta, so I see Sox there whenever I can. (I've seen a few other Atlanta games as well, including a recent one against the Astros). I went to Pittsburgh last summer and saw all three games the Sox played there. Lots of fun.

And of course, where ever you go, there are lots and lots of Sox fans. B)

I think I could add a few to this list. I'm a Tigers fan who will probably be moving to Boston, so I thought I'd sign on to this forum to get a feel for Boston baseball.

I've been to:
Tiger Stadium (of course)
Old Comiskey Park (Chicago) 1979 or 80
Angels Stadium (Anaheim) 1984
Dodger Stadium (LA) 1984 for Olympic baseball
New Comiskey (Chicago) 1990 or so
Coors Field (Denver) 1998
Metrodome (Minneapolis) 2002

Planning a Fenway night in August.

I went to the first game where it was called "Chase Field". That was fun I went with two friends of mine, got the tickets free and sat in the second row of the left field bleachers. B)

Really, How was it? My goal is to get down there at some point this season. Maybe in August before the semester starts. I wanted desperately to make it to RFK for a game before they moved out but never got the chance. :(

One of my best friends goes to school in Buffalo so I was gonna go up there and we were gonna catch a Jays game at SKYDOME (Fuck Rogers Centre) before the semester ended, so now I'm gonna wait until like September. Either that or I'm gonna try to catch a WBC game up there in March, that would be awesome.

Haven't been to Shea at all this year, so I have to make sure I get there a few last times. Didn't even make it last year either. Had tickets but couldn't go.

Haha I thought the same thing when I saw the Build-A-Bear. Cincinnati has one also. I understand that it's a big attraction for little kids, it's just weird seeing them in a baseball stadium. Not a big deal at all though.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't think anyone here posted that they'd been to Progressive Field (formerly Jacobs Field) in Cleveland.

My family and I were on vacation a few weeks ago and travelled through Cleveland, and hit an Indians-Orioles game. That park is very nice, in my opinion. Very clean, very modern without looking "plastic", and great viewing from wherever we were.

I went to Progressive Field in June, it is a very nice stadium, not a bad seat in the joint.

I've also been to:

Fenway
Camden Yards
Candlestick Park (1987)
Jacobs Field (1993)
Cinncinatti Reds Stadium (1987-forgot the name)

City of Palms Park and Hammond Stadium, Ft. Myers FL for several Spring Training games.

Drillers Stadium isn't major league but dammit it's big for a Double-A park.

Adding that one to the list.
