Well, just like the Saints, the Hornets won their opening game. Total ownage down in OK City. Also good game between Milwaukee and Philly.

Nen? injured his knee, as the Spurs beat the Nuggets 102-91.

Im pretty pumped about my Bulls, we have a nice young team. God knows we've gone without a championship long enough.

The Nuggets didn't look so hot, but all things considered, it wasn't a totally awful showing. They were horribly coached tonight. Their assistant coach, who was filling in for Karl, didn't call timeouts to break the momentum when he needed to, they stood in place on offense. Both things that should be corrected when Karl returns to the bench.

that was a great mavs and suns game, also the bucks/76ers game was entertaining as well. redd hit the game tying 3 with 1.6 left in regulation and the bucks eventually won it even though iverson and webber had 30+ points each.

Im happy that my second favorite sport is FINALLY here. BTW, does anyone else think that the Knicks are a lot of fun to watch this year? Like I still cant believe how much fun these guys are to watch this year, I watched more preseason basketball this year then I ever have before.

It sure would be nice to start our season off with a win tonight against BOSTON, but I sware, if Antonio Davis gets called on one more "3 in the Key" violation, im going to slap him one night outside if the Garden.

Damn right, I was there. The place was electric all night and it felt like a playoff game. I'm very hoarse and got home late, and was sleepy through my two classes today  oh well it was worth it, and I'm definately going to more games this year, I haven't been since the year before last, before last night.

Oh yeah, fuck high priced tickets, I had to buy mine ($110.00) while my sister's fiance got his two that we're right next to mine (from his company's corporate office in California) free. :o He payed for my dinner at the Lexus club though, so I didn't burn too much money.

I'm gonna add that Nene will most likely miss the rest of the season.

I wanted Kiki to trade him so badly... we could've tried to get Michael Redd if we were willing to give him up last season. I wish they'd fire Kiki.

Damn it, Miami won. But Ron Jeremy is still gonna have a tough time coaching a team that has full of egos.

YES! Clippers stunned the Sonics with a 101-93 road win, after being down by 13 late in the 3rd quarter. Alien man Sam Cassell scored 35 points and had 11 assists. I'm not sure how many points he scored in the 4th quarter but it was around 10-15. Talk about clutch.

Go Clips!

Nuggets just dropped another game.

Thank god George Karl's suspension is up because Scott Brooks is absolutely horrible as a coach.

All game, I kept having flashbacks of Jeff BzDelik or Michael Cooper on the sideline, with the team playing with absolutely no discipline. They stood around on offense, never looked to run, no timeouts to break momentum when they needed them. Ugh.

what is it with Ron Artest....seems like every year he has a new number, he used to wear 15, 2 years ago he had 23, last year he had 91 (for Rodman I believe) and now hes back to 15...I would never buy an Artest jersey just for the fact that it will be outdated within like a year

The 23 was to honor Jordan, the 91 was to honor Rodman, as you said -- I thought I remembered him saying he was going to honor a new person every year. Maybe he's no longer doing it, anymore.

Just got back from the Nuggets/Blazers game. The Nuggets were dominant in their first game with Karl on the bench, winning by 39 points. I wish Earl Watson got more playing time than he does. He looked very good tonight.

Man, what a game at STAPLES. If that was last year and the game was decided by 1 point, it would've been a guaranteed win for the T'Wolves.
