i agree. high school players shouldnt be allowed to enter the draft. its ruining college basketball, and kept deserving picks from going number one like carmelo and emeka.

Not knowing anything about Basketball, did the Celtics do well?

yes i guess to. jefferson is a great forward for a high school guy that could develop into something decent. West is a very underrated play, he helped St. Joes to a undefeated season last year. i dont know much about allen but i have heard all good things

They did not do too well. Jefferson could be dominant, but is a year or 2 away from anything. West is a great shooter, and Allen is a tough player, but those 2 are nothing more than bench players in the future.

Glad to see Gordon and Okafor both go in the top 3 (I'm a UConn fan), imagine if they could play on the same team in the NBA?

I agree with Chrup in saying West and Allen will be nothing more than bench players. Jefferson could be a great player but with high schoolers it's always hit or miss.

if you were a celtic fan you would say otherwise, NETS SUCK, stocker knows what im talking about. west can play both guard position, and can shoot the ball pretty damn well. i didnt get the pick with allen, but jefferson should become a good starter in his career

Didn't we already pick Kendrick Perkins last season to be the designated "waste of space" on the team? Now this Jefferson kid might actually force Perkins to play, oh no!

I do not know what you guys are talking about, the C's did great in this draft.

Al Jefferson- Even though this guy played in high school, he averaged 43 points, 18 rebounds a game. That is phenonamal even for a high schooler. He can be a very special player in the NBA and was a steal with the fifteenth pick.

Delonte West- This kid can flat out shoot. If he can develop point guard skills and become a true point guard, he can be an all-star.

Suprised to see Howard go first, but i guess Magic went with need.
I don't think Okafor can help the expantion Bobcats that much. (Not that Howard could either)
