I don't live in the New England area so I wasn't able to watch "Still We Believe- The Boston Red Sox Movie". It comes out on DVD July 6th.

Boston Red Sox: 100 Years of Baseball History (2001)

are already out.

Does anyone feel like these are worth owning? Or does it just add salt to the Red Sox fans' wounds?

I own the Red Sox history DVD and it certainly is good for a brief history of the team. If you want to read, rather than watch, you also may consider investing in the Red Sox Century book, which came out a few years ago. It goes into detail about everything up to 1999 I think. It's essentially how I learned Red Sox history.

I have the Cowboy Up dvd - though I didn't like it that much. I hate it when the narration plays over the play-by-play announcers, and the ending really sucks <_< .

I also have Forever Fenway that came out in 1987 on VHS.

I have the official Red Sox Video Yearbook by Kodak for 1986 which is very cool, except they overdubbed Vin Scully and the rest of the post season announcers with sound alikes.. - it really takes away from the Angels playoff games. I can't find it anywhere on the net, so I guess it's rare.

I have the '86 AL East clincher recorded on VHS too somewhere. Along with the 2003 Wildcard clincher, but only the 8th and 9th innings and postgame. That's actually pretty cool to rewatch (I did over the winter a couple of times..)

I also have games 2, 6 and 7 of the '86 World Series I recorded on VHS. I have never watched them and should probably burn them.
