Redman- 6-5, 4.42
Martinez- 8-3, 3.74

petey is coming around, we should win again. redman is a lefty so surely we know manny will have a huge night at the plate.

huge night in the field or with the bat? No i know you mean batting, but Manny has been pretty nasty in left field. A lot of running catches into the wall, and hes showing more hustle. Im very proud.

maybe i meant both??? haha, jk

im also very proud of the way manny has been this year. maybe after being nearly traded he felt that everyone would think he would be pissed off and play crappy. he has definitely showed all those people up this year with another MVP type season

definately

Petey has the pre-game advantage, but Redman is a quality pitcher who contributed to a World Series champion last year. The Red Sox CANNOT go into this game thinking this is an easy win. They need to be hungry, and get some good swings on Redman.

if pedro has a strong first inning, the game is ours. He needs to breeze through the early innings. that is important.

It's also important that the Sox play good defense.... I agree with you, ortiz....if he gets through the first 3...he is usually very good 4-7.

Ortiz34

when was the last time foulke got a save, or even pitched. I can't remember. I haven;t seen him in a long long long time. O well, hopefully we can win every game by a lot, and we wont need him.

By the way, Yankees are getting destroyed 10-3 by the Tigers. How aobut this season Carlos Guillen is having.

It's official, Detroit beat the Yankees 10-8 this afternoon.

The Red Sox have to make up ground today by winning

you stole my post... anyways, we better pwn tonight to have any chance at the division. we need to capitalize when the yanks lose

Ortiz34

we dont need to "pwn" haha. We just need to win. It doesn;t matter how the sox get the win, its just the final score that counts. I think im going to the game tonight. So maybe i can bring some good luck. Peace

That's true. No matter what the score is, as long as the Sox score more runs than Oakland, I'll be happy tonight. The Sox need to be < 5 games back of the Yankees at the break.

A tough task, yes...but it HAS to be done if they expect to take the division.

They can start by winning tonight. They'll be 6 games back.

Ortiz34

PEDRO MARTINEZ IS A FUCKING AWFUL PITCHER WITH A BIG LEAD!

JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEBODY GIVE ME HIS TALENT SO I CAN GO PITCH LIKE IT'S STILL A 0-0 GAME AND NOT THROW UP MEATBALLS!

7-3 Bill Mueller single, thank god!

Pedro
07-07-2004, 07:13 PM
I don't understand him.

WHY, PEDRO?!

WHY DO YOU GIVE UP LEADS AT WILL?!

Pedro hadn't had his stuff popping like that in the 1st two innings all year... he's going to end up hardly even lowering his ERA after this game. That is assuming he isn't throwing up batting practice.

Pedro
07-07-2004, 07:14 PM
THAT'S QUITE ENOUGH!

Signed,

Pedro

Which begs the question... We moved up Schill to face the A's, so our rotation for the sluggin' rangers is:

Lowe, Arroyo and Wake?

i was at the game, but i left a little early. I was reading through the posts, and calm down Pedro dude. Pedro pitched really well. Only 3 runs. You gotta calm down man. I had green monster seats. It was sick. it looked awesome to see Manny's monster jack.
