Rogers- 12-2, 3.65 ERA

Lowe- 6-8, 6.02 ERA

Tonight we are facing one of the best pitchers in the league. To win, the sox need to jump out to the early lead again, and pray that Lowe doesn't give it up. Im looking for an outstanding performance from Ortiz and Damon again. v

You know what? We should all hope Lowe gets demolished. Theo has been shopping him and one more bad outing could push him over the edge to trade him for anything at this point.

I'm going to be there tonight and I'll make sure I boo.

Ortiz34
07-10-2004, 12:42 PM
you're saying you want the sox to lose? Woah man

No, no, no. I want the Sox to win something like 15-13 with all runs charged to D-Lowe (Tito would leave him in that long). That will force Theo's hand into getting Lowe outta here.

Ortiz34

But then there is the problem that if Loew remains horrible, nobody will want him.

i want lowe to turn a corner and pitch awesome for the rest of the year!

I'm sure somebody would be willing to trade some of those extra BP balls and fungo bats lying around.

yeah, im gonna have to agree with Tek. I would love to see Lowe get back in his groove.

who doesnt? i feel very bad for this guy. what he said the other day was absolutley correct. why dont people jump on pedros or curts or bronsons or wakes ass if they have a bad start. i feel really bad for him and want him to do great the rest of this season no matter where he goes

I'd rather have Lowe than some garbage we'd get for him. Besides, he's due for a good start.

BTW, when Damon Scores 2 runs or more the Sox are 13-1 (32-2 over the past two seasons)

Damon is amazing, he should go to foxwoods....

I coukld never root for a sox pitcher to do badly. I just cant.

Nice start...
I want Lowe to get his caca together and start contributing.

If I was in a negative mood I would say I hate the line up juggling...but I am happy so I wont say a word and we are ahead.

Congrats to DO he had a baby, and so did his wife!

let me ask a question...didnt we get pokey to play second, as in Nomar and POkey...pokey and nomar....I mean bellhor had a hit tonight but he isnt a very good second baseman, he has some rbi's but he leads the god damn AL in whiffs. I dont get why he plays. I just dont.

sarasoxfan
07-10-2004, 06:34 PM
oh by the way, I agree with Yanks....I liked that lowe spoke up. It must be a bitch to hear what a hothead you are and how emotionally unstable you are.

He seems to be just doing fine tonight, after some bad breaks innthe field he went right out and struck out a couple.

Like him or not the guys a competitor and at the very least you can say he does care.
go lowe!

sarasoxfan
07-10-2004, 06:36 PM
Bellhorn blows...............................

2 friggin errors in one inning.....

Man, I am hot head and I get unglued when they play like that, but fortunately the press doesnt seem to care!

You know, this time I'm not gonna blame it on Bellhorn. If you have a guy who absolutely NEEDS a great defense behind him to get his confidence back, like Lowe, why in the world do you have Garciaparra as DH? For this game, put him at ss and Pokey at second.

Tek04
07-10-2004, 06:42 PM
WHY THE HECK IS BELLHORN IN THE GAME!!!! ARGGG

why isnt oritz nixon or mueller in the lineup...can you anwswer me that fucking question?

sarasoxfan
07-10-2004, 06:43 PM
i agree with that, butit would help.
I guess lowe just doens t have the mind set to be a major league pitcher.

You cant crumble ALL the time like that. Damn it.The fact bellhorn sucks is a different story and I agree I dont get the whole line up question ..That is why I dont Franncoe because this crap makes errors....

lets get back into this game...come on guys.

YanksHater213
07-10-2004, 06:44 PM
wtf, just when i thought lowe would pitch a good game, the fag comes back and allows 6 runs, lowe, that was it. theo is on the phones now, youll be gone my tuesday

sarasoxfan
07-10-2004, 06:45 PM
hey Tek, the answer is francona is an idiot.

WHAT IS THIS RESTING STUFF....

Mueller is finally starting to hit let the man play.
If DO cam back from having his baby he should play.
Nomar at short, pokey at second. enough said

sarasoxfan

seriously, all, have any of you EVER seen a better right handed hitter than Manny in your lifetime? I'm 31 and he is the best I've ever seen. Just like Pedro is the best pitcher I've ever seen and that was 4 years ago.

YanksHater213
07-10-2004, 06:59 PM
he is the best in the game vs. lefties

sarasoxfan
07-10-2004, 07:02 PM
manny is by far the best and most pure hitter in the game, all fields with power.

Tek...Tek...tek...tek

Probably because Pedro, Curt and Wake aren't awful every single time they pitch.

Tonight is just a cluster fuck though... 6 runs - all unearned.

Has anyone else noticed how often Pokey strikes out. It is rediculous, he should not start. I think he should lose his spot to Bellhorn and be used as a Super - Damien Jackson type player.

Bellhorn again, keep jinxing him man. Im kind of disappointed that the all star break is coming up. Damon has been on fire for the past 4 games. Hes had 4 hit and 3 hit games for the past 4 games. It seems like he will never cool down, but with the break, he probably will lose his touch. Great run support sox, but Lowe, you still suck.

Absolutely fantastic game. I screamed my ass off. To top it all off, I got three great baseball cards in the program! A Mickey Tettleton 1996 and two cards for some unknown Marlins prospects circa 1993. Jeff Conine and Trevor Hoffman. You guys ever here of them? Seriously, who gives out cards that are older than half the people who buy the programs?
